Classic Honda of Midland kicked off the season of giving by raising money to help feed the low-income, elderly, and disabled of Midland. Classic Honda of Midland was a proud sponsor of the 2019 Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day. The annual kids run, 5K, and 10K run benefits Midland County Greater Works. Since 2011, Midland County Greater Works has fought to end food insecurity in the Permian Basin. Right now, the organization feeds more than 250 families every month at no cost to its clients.

“Fighting hunger in our community is an issue very near and dear to our hearts,” said Joey Gabarda, owner of Classic Honda of Midland. “We hope our contribution brings some joy to those who need it the most this holiday season and encourage others to do the same.”

This recent effort is just one of several ways Classic Honda of Midland has participated in the fight against hunger in Midland. Back in January, Classic Honda of Midland donated equipment to the West Texas Food Bank to be used for a food pantry at South Elementary School.
