Classic Honda of Midland loves to give back to the community, especially to our local youth. This year, Classic Honda of Midland is a proud sponsor of Midland High School’s ‘Students of Philanthropy’ 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off.

‘Students in Philanthropy’ is an initiative of the Abell-Hangar Foundation which teaches students the importance of philanthropy and the role of nonprofit organizations. The group of students raise money to give away as grants to agencies who help our community. Since 2000, the ‘Students in Philanthropy’ class at Midland High School has raised and donated more than $280,000 to local non-profit organizations.

“Our youth is the future of Midland. We appreciate programs like ‘Students in Philanthropy’ to help mold the next leaders of our community,” said Joey Gabarda, owner of Classic Honda of Midland.

The event takes place on Sunday, November 17th, 2019, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Young Life Building (925 W Wadley).

Along with helping Midland High School SIP, Classic Honda of Midland has also sponsored the Turkey Trot, a fundraiser for Midland County Greater Works, and the Crystal Ball for High Sky Children’s Ranch.
