Classic Honda Of Midland Spreads Holiday Cheer With Gift Card Giveaway
Midland, TX –Classic Honda of Midland continued its tradition of spreading joy this holiday season as they presented a $500 gift card to the Boen family of Odessa. The annual Christmas Gift Card giveaway, an initiative by Joey Gabarda, owner of Classic Honda of Midland, aimed to uplift a deserving family in the community.
For the past six years, Classic Honda of Midland has welcomed nominations through email and Facebook, seeking individuals or families deserving of an extra dose of holiday happiness. This year, Crissy Albright nominated Justin and Brandy Boen for their extraordinary dedication to helping people in our community.
"This tradition embodies the true spirit of the season, and it's something we hold dear at Classic Honda of Midland. Over the years, we've had the privilege to encounter remarkable stories and meet incredible individuals," expressed Joey Gabarda, the owner of Classic Honda of Midland.
The presentation of the $500 gift card took place today, making the Boen family’s holiday season a bit brighter. Joey Gabarda and the Classic Honda of Midland team continue to be committed to spreading joy and support in the local community.

Have you ever heard of angels who live here on Earth? I am so blessed to say that I call 2 of them friends. Justin and Brandy Boen are 2 of the most selfless, good hearted, God fearing people that I know. For years they fostered children in their home along with raising their own. They have supported every friend and family member that has ever been in their presence. They volunteer on so many different school, church, non-profit boards and projects. Until recently Justin owned his own business. Unfortunately the way our economy is and the way prices have inflated he recently had to take a regular job to make sure that his family still had what they needed. Brandy suffers from very bad back problems and has been undergoing monthly procedures to try to help keep her pain down so that she can live life as normally as possible. There isn’t anything that these 2 would not do for anyone else who needed their help. However, they are always the last to reach out for help when they need it. They have no idea that I have nominated them for this. If they knew, they probably wouldn’t want me to because if they won they would feel like they are taking away from someone else. However, I assure you that they are so deserving of this blessing and it would definitely make this holiday season easier for them. I have watched these people volunteer countless hours of their time to other people, I have seen them take the dirty laundry of a homeless man to a laundromat just so he would have clean clothes and a boost of confidence, I have watched them rally around friends who are grieving a loss and do everything possible to lighten their load during their grieving process….. the list could literally go on forever. This is a family who truly deserves this blessing but would never actually ask for it for themselves. That’s why I’m doing it for them. They are some of the greatest people I know and I’m beyond blessed to have them in my life. They truly are angels walking upon this Earth with us.
